UBA Foxhunt

The Winter 2011 UBA foxhunt started tonight and this year they have also added SSB. I did listen for one hour without finding the fox but I know the conditions were strange tonight. I will try again next Monday.

    Hello Mads, read your article and read the foxhunt page. Tried to find out what the rules are for the event? But it is not completely clear to me? My guess is you have to find the station that is scheduled for a particular date (Mondays) and frequency and try to work that station? Am I right? Never been into foxhunts....sounds like fun. 73, Bas

    Hello Bas,

    Yes, I think you've got it right. I knew the SSB fox (ON6WJ) were calling CQ Foxhunt somewhere between 3.680 and 3.700 MHz but I was not able to hear him due to strange conditions and QRM from stronger stations. Sounds like good fun to me too! Why don't you join in next Monday?
