Today I broke the pile up and worked the YI9PSE DXpedition in Iraq on 18MHz! I used my Elecraft K3 at 5w SSB and a 5/8 wavelength vertical antenna designed for 27MHz! This brings my QRP DXCC score to 72 DXCCs worked and 67 confirmed. http://www.yi9pse.com

ReplyDeleteI have been trying to get YI9PSE for nearly the whole week, every evening. In the pile-up I am only able to work on 40m. I have had no luck yet :-( My finger is sore from pressing the voice keyer!
