Worked 3V3S

Today I worked 3V3S on 17m with QRP SSB and a W3DZZ antenna. That brings my DXCC score to 68, all of them with 5w SSB! I really enjoyed this one as I used to be a scout myself!

  1. Fantastic! North Africa on 5W SSB from Norway! My congratulations. Like I said to PC4T earlier, I listen out for North African stations but I think they are few and far between: the proverbial needle in a haystack!

  2. Hi Adam! Thanks for your comment. I have also worked Morocco, Algeria, Madeira Island and Canary Islands on QRP SSB during this sunspot minimum. Don't give up. You can do it too, you know!

  3. Nice one, Mads. I don't know how you manage to do so well using QRP SSB. I'd have been pleased to make the contact using CW.

  4. Thanks Julian! I guess I was just in the right place (qrg) at the right time.

  5. Hello Mads, indeed, that was a nice catch. Funny we worked both 3V3S with QRP. I made the QSO with CW. 73 Paul
